Making a Referral

We are pleased to assist in the diagnosis and management of infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of known or suspected rheumatologic or immunologic disorders. If you would like to refer a patient to one of our outpatient clinics, you may call 984-974-1401 or fax the referral to 919-962-4421. Please be sure to include all relevant information including visit notes and laboratory or imaging test results. If you would like a telephone consultation with our Rheumatologists, you may contact the Carolina Consultation Center at (800) 862-6264 and ask for the Pediatric Rheumatology provider on-call. Our physicians are also able to provide inpatient evaluations for patients admitted to the pediatric unit at UNC Children’s Hospital or UNC Rex.
