Visiting hours

Family and friends are welcome to visit inpatients at UNC Children’s Hospital between the hours of 6 am – 9 pm Visitor restrictions during COVID may be in effect. For more information on visiting patients, go to the Visitor Information page.

Surgical Tower Construction

The Surgical Tower construction project will have major impacts on the UNC Medical Center campus that will close the entrances of NC Memorial Hospital and NC Children’s Hospital, affect traffic patterns, and may have an impact on where patients are registered and discharged.
