Making a Referral
Physicians may refer patients to our pediatric specialists who are pleased to assist in the diagnosis and management of infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of known or suspected immune deficiencies. Services offered include:
- Outpatient appointments by referral in our clinics.
- Telephone consultations. A consultation can be done with our physician on call by contacting the Carolina Consultation Center at (800) 862-6264 and asking for the pediatric physician on call for that subspecialty.
- Inpatient evaluation of patients at N.C. Children’s Hospital
Our faculty members are also actively involved in a variety of educational endeavors (seminars, weekly conferences, etc.) as well as clinical and basic science research activities. We welcome you to contact any of the faculty in the division for further information on these activities.
