Appointments

If your child is a patient in the UNC Special Infant Care Clinic (SICC), most likely one of our division's neonatal specialists referred your child to our clinic and arranged his or her first appointment at the SICC. Future appointments will be scheduled by the clinic at your convenience.

When going for an appointment with a member of the UNC medical team, it is always helpful for the patient to take the following:

  • UNC medical record card – For patients coming for a first time visit, the clinic will direct you where to get a UNC card.
  • Health insurance information
  • Immunization records – You may also arrange for your child’s physician to send us copies of their records in advance of your appointment.
