Making an Appointment
Your primary care physician should refer your child to our clinics. After the referral is made, patients or primary care physicians are welcome to schedule an appointment at the convenience of the patient. Call 919-966-1178 to make an appointment with one of UNC Children’s pediatric cancer experts.
Outpatient care is provided in the North Carolina Cancer Hospital on the 1st floor in the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology clinic. Outpatient care is also provided at the UNC Children’s Specialty Clinic in Raleigh or in an outpatient clinic in Wilmington.

Sedation
(Tuesday & Friday) - Our clinic is staffed by a pediatric anesthesiology team in order to provide sedation in our treatment rooms for any patient undergoing a procedure.

Hemophilia
(Monday) - While patients with hemophilia can be seen in clinic for acute concerns any weekday, a multidisciplinary hemophilia treatment team works in clinic on Mondays to provide comprehensive follow-up care, education, screening, and support services. Sickle cell
(Monday) - While patients with sickle cell anemia can be seen in clinic for acute concerns any weekday, a multidisciplinary sickle cell treatment team works in clinic on Mondays to provide comprehensive follow-up care, education, screening, and support services.
